Keynote speakers who work locally, regionally and nationally on a range of issues dealing with Hate Crime including, community tensions, violent extremism and support for victims will be there. This will also be your opportunity to sign up to the ‘’One City, Many People Working Together to Stop Hate Crime’’ pledge
The aim of the day is to;
Inform vulnerable people suffering from hate crime about how to access support
Encourage people experiencing hate crime to report it and access support in order to increase personal safety and assist in monitoring and addressing community tensions
Engage a number of hard to reach community groups
Work together to uphold shared values across a range of equality and diversity issues
To reinforce the condemnation of extremism.
Multiple partners and supporters including Wolverhampton City Council , West Midlands Police, Wolverhampton Homes, and Wolverhampton Safer Partnership, Wolverhampton City Councils Equalities Champion have come together with the Equality and Diversity Forum to deliver this one day conference.
