Public Open Day at Police and Crime Commissioner’s Offices – Revised date

From 10 am till 2 pm on Saturday 8 June 2013
At Lloyd House, Colmore Circus Queensway, Birmingham, B4 6AT

Police and Crime Commissioner Bob Jones will be throwing open the doors of Lloyd House, to allow people to come and see first hand the place where he works and meet with him and a range of other organisations.  This event has been re-scheduled from 23 March, when it had to be cancelled due to heavy snowfall.

“The introduction of Police and Crime Commissioners last November was an entirely new innovation and it is important for people to know what their Police and Crime Commissioner does on their behalf, said Bob Jones.  “I will be there to talk about my Police and Crime Plan and explain first hand what it is about.”

The event will also be attended by The Fire Service, Police, the Probation Service, Victim Support and many other organisations, who will be actively engaging with people.  The Deputy Police and Crime Commissioner Yvonne Mosquito and members of the Strategic Policing and Crime Board will be there to talk to people about their roles.
