The Ethnic Minority Council (EMC) is a Company Ltd by guarantee established in 2002.  The EMC is committed to ensuring that people from black and minority ethnic communities, including newcomers, refugees and asylum seekers (many of whom experience disadvantage), are able to enjoy and achieve positive wellbeing and economic success.

If you would like to become director of EMC please email or telephone leaving a phone message with your contact details requesting a nomination form.  These will be accepted until 4.00pm on Thursday 5th December 2013.

All nominations are welcome. If you are interested, but would like to speak to someone about what’s involved before submitting your nomination then please contact  and we will put you in touch with the chair of EMC.

Please note the Annual Presentation Report 2012-2013 will be circulated at the meeting.  We look forward to seeing you at the meeting.
