Nursing a paralympics hangover, this month I have been looking around for sites of interest to disabledsports players and fans.
I’ve got 2 that might interest you:

Level Playing Field (used to be called NADS) acts as a campaigning and advisory organisation across all sports. They share good practice, raise awareness and promote improved access to sports stadiums for disabled fans and disabled people. This includes their new disabled access audit awars.

Find out more about it at their website:

http://www.levelplayingfield.org.uk/

The other site, for those of us who want to do as well as watch is

http://www.disabilityfootball.co.uk/

This is a Directory is to share information and to increase awareness of footballing opportunities for disabled people around the country.

It is designed as a resource for those involved or wanting to get involved in disability football.

Any disabled people’s football team can registere and be featured on the site for free.

One Voice is run by and for disabled people, and has lots of information for disabled people, friends, family, carers, collegues, and anyone else who want to know about issues affecting disabled people’s lives.
