LGB&T Network Wolverhampton Counselling
Serving Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Trans people!
What is Counselling?
Counselling provides an opportunity to talk in confidence about the challenges, problems or issues that concern you, as well as allowing you to explore your thoughts and feelings in a safe accepting, non-judgemental environment. The counsellor’s role is to help you through this process without judgement or telling you what to do.
Our Counselling Service
We provide free one to one counselling to people aged over 16 years, for people confused about their sexuality or those who identify as Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual or Trans and their significant others in Wolverhampton and surrounding areas. There are NO FEES for the Counselling. However, to enable us to provide this service, donations are gratefully received.
Our Counsellors
All of our counsellors are qualified or in their final years of study, are members of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and hold Professional Indemnity Insurance.
Counselling is confidential and our counsellors work within the BACP ethical guidelines including confidentiality. Everything you say to the counsellor usually remains confidential and will not be talked about outside LGBT Wolverhampton, except in exceptional circumstances.
