They want to listen to people and help self advocates be heard.

They also want you to know what work Learning Disability England and other members are doing

This year LDE have been giving workshops on self-advocacy to people who work for companies that give support to people with learning disabilities.

They want people to know all about what self-advocacy is and what they can be doing to support self-advocacy in their job.

Self-advocacy is about people making decisions themselves about things that effect their own life.

People can make big changes to support self-advocacy like provide self-advocacy groups with funding.
But you can also make small changes like learning more about it and talking about it on social media.
