only two weeks to go until the Event from our partners over at HealthWatch. It is for HealthWatch members, and promises to be a really informative day where you can find out more about Healthwatch Wolverhampton, what it is and what it can do for you and your family.
What do you think about the current GP appointments system?
How about young people’s access to mental health services?
Find out about the work the Healthwatch Young Assessors have done and the new mental health strategy for the city.
Many of you attend the child health services based at the Gem Centre with your family. Many of these services including audiology, occupational therapy, and physiotherapy will be available over lunchtime for you to speak to and seek advice.
Find out what the Special Care Dental Service does and PALS (Patient Liaison Advisory Service) from New Cross Hospital will also be around to listen and help with any concerns. Meet the city’s health trainers, who will be offering advice on healthy living including eating, exercise, and the expert patient programme. You can have a health check if you wish.
Don’t miss out on this opportunity to have your say on health and social care issues affecting your family, tell us what’s working well and what needs to change!
The Healthwatch Event is on Thursday 17th October from 10-4 at Blakenhall Healthy Living Centre.
