Hi all, you may have read or heard about a shocking story of an attack on a Guide Dog this week by a Staffordshire Bull Terrier type of dog in Woolpack Alley off Dudley street in Wolverhampton City Centre.
Without wishing to frighten people please be aware that this dog and its owner may still be in this area of the City Centre so it might be wise to avoid until this issue is dealt with by the Police.
Thankfully the Guide Dog in question is not seriously hurt but did require multiple stitches in her neck.
Awareness needs to be raised that under new laws, owners whose dogs attack guide dogs can face up to three years in prison.
Please find a link to story in the Express and Star below and lets Share this helping to protect the working animals many people living with sight loss heavily rely on.
