ESA tribunal statistics from the 1st quarter of this year( April to June)  show an 86% increase on appeals from the same time period last year.

ESA appeals account for 70% of all social security appeals

The stats say that at the moment DLA appeals are just 11% of the total, but we can expect that to rise when PIPs decisions come in,especially if ATOS/Capita make the same misjudgements that they have under ESA.

42% of ESA appeals are won by the claimant, but there is a huge regional variation – in London and the South East  45% -47% of appeals are won. In the West Midlands and the North West, only 31% are won.

Our current win rate at One Voice is 68%
