Epilepsy Society is campaigning for changes to the disabled person’s bus pass – and we need your support!
In England, the current concessionary bus pass allows free travel between 9.30am and 11pm and all day at weekends, although some local authorities have extended the scheme to include peak time travel. In Scotland and Wales, the disabled person’s bus pass is valid at all times, and a free companion pass is also available. We think this is confusing, so we’re campaigning for the same unrestricted operating hours throughout the UK for a pass holder and a companion. Can you help us campaign for change?
