Nationwide Building society and Iceland are trying out special opening hours for older and disabled people to help reduce the chance of them getting the corona virus.

Nationwide Building Society branches and Iceland supermarket will open from 8.00am, instead of the usual 9.00am for people over 70 and people with relevant long term health conditions.

Both businesses are asking local councils and transport authorities to relax their bus pass rules so that older and disabled people can use their free passes before 9.30.

There is no word on this yet.
