The 5 disabled tenants who took the Government to Court over the bedroom tax have failed in their appeal.
We wrote in detail about the case in january, the substance of which was that the bedroom tax unfairly discriminated against disabled people.
The Court of Appeal took a different view.
the people who took the case are looking at appealing to the supreme Court, as the Court of Appeal decision, seems to support a view that disabled people’s housing needs do not need to be met to the same degree as non-disabled tenants.
