swimmingSwimming Challenge

Our Activeyes swimming group who meet every Monday at the Bert Williams Leisure Centre in Bilston are again going to challenge themselves. Last year they swam the length of the English Channel and back again without leaving Bilston and raised over £500 for charity.

Their goal this time, as a group is to swim 50 lengths at each session between now and Christmas, a grand total of 800 lengths. The 50 lengths each session celebrates the fact that Beacon Centre for the Blind is currently celebrating 50 years of being in Sedgley.

New swimmers are always welcome, if you would like to come along please get in touch with us.

We meet every Monday at the Bert Williams Leisure Centre in Bilston from 3pm – 4pm. We have our own lane to swim safely.

If you would like more information about Activeyes please contact Tim Jukes at the Beacon Centre on 01902 880111 tjukes@beacon4blind.co.uk
