Web Lurker
Welcome to the new page by One Voice's Web Lurker - each month he tells you about sites of interest to Disabled People.
They describe themselves as "the largest online community for people with a disability", but I've never heard of them, and none of my friends had - you might not have heard of them either, but all that is about to change, because I am going to tell you about disabled united.
They have sections on jobs, dating etc, but as a semi-employed married man, i passed them by for what really took my interest (pictured) is that they have information on accessible holiday properties and guest places, with photos and good access info, which is really hard for wheelchair users and other mobility impaired people to get hold of - if anyone has used this site for information on accessible hotels etc, let us know how accurate it was, and we will update this column.
